Blink is an awesome new employee app. Launched in 2018, the team now has offices in Australia and New York with huge growth planned for the coming year.

The app is an amazing tool, especially for remote workers without a company email address. Blink contacted Cosy Meerkat to support them with launch and engagement comms for the roll out of the app with their customers. 

We began our work in partnership with one of Blink’s customers, Vix, a travel technology firm with employees around the world, who were one of the first companies to install the app and launch it simultaneously across the globe on all their sites. 

Cosy Meerkat worked closely with the Blink team to develop communications tools that would work not only for Vix, but for other customers as they came on board further down the line. We built our messaging around ease of use and accessibility of use for employees, and created tools that sat well with the Blink brand that was already in play. 

Key strategic deliverables included a Managers PowerPoint to introduce the tool, a PowerPoint for the Champions that had been recruited,a Champions Handbook, an Employee Handbook (available both in print and online tools) as well as agendas for pre-launch meetings, event planning and workshop facilitation. Specific launch collateral included posters, vinyls for mirrors, html emails and even cupcake toppers! 

Cosy Meerkat was part of the launch team in the UK, which was a huge success, with events happening across the world on the day. Balloons, cupcakes, excitement and engagement arrived by the bucket load, and take up of the app was 85% by the end of week one. Extraordinary!
